Final tour of The Senders - from set construction to Memphis

Video:   The Senders Final Tour - 2016

The legendary Senders Sixteen tour is the subject of virtually no discussion, yet it remains a beloved mystery notwithstanding.  The band had no following, yet on this final tour continued to drawn no fans as well, often playing to virtually empty venues of all stripes.  There were even some plaids and polka dots mixed in.  The tour itself was an all out failure, yet its earned legendary status for trying.  Moving from small unheard of gigs nobody's heard of, the last known show was impressively in a sortof empty stadium, possibly the result of a scheduling snafu.  Poor scheduling may have been the culprit all along, although it walked hand in hand with pretty much poor everything else, including this documentary.   After said stadium show, the tour reportedly continued on to Memphis, after which it was never heard of again.  If indeed, anyone's heard of it NOW, which is doubtful.  Still some records exist, found in an outdated 2005 video camera I won working at a Sprint store.   Well I did.

I would say more.  But I’ve already said too much. Cultivated obscurity can be fragile.  Still, nothings too obscure not to be documented.  If you don’t, who will?
